Poster presentation by Assoc. Prof. Glenda Garcia-Santos and Manjana Puff
The European Geoscience Union Conference takes place these days from 14.4. until 19.4. in Vienna. Geoscientists from all over the world are present and talk about their studies and results of different research fields. Also, the Geography Department of Klagenfurt was there and presented two posters. One poster is about perception of soil compaction in grasslands: what can be learnt to foster sustainability and policy intervention and was presented by the master student Manjana Puff in collaboration with Dr. Andreas Bohner and Assoc. Prof. Glenda Garcia-Santos. The second poster is about the influence of soil moisture content on water repellency after a forest burnt and will be presented on the 18.4. by Assoc. Prof. Glenda Garcia-Santos in collaboration with Manjana Puff, Christian Kogler, Angel Fernandez and Eileen Eckmeier. Thanks to these presentations, we made important connections for further collaborations. We hope that other students are encouraged to participate next year!
