Workshop

Do you want to learn how to respond flexibly to different people and situations and communicate effectively? In this workshop, you will acquire practical moderation skills that you can apply to both fixed and changing groups and group sizes. The workshop is specifically designed for tutors and mentors and addresses your individual needs. You will develop your own strategies for successfully moderating dynamic conversation situations and deepen your understanding of the challenges and potentials of conversation management.

Are you a tutor this semester? Our basic course will teach you the basics of tutoring and how it is organized at the University of Klagenfurt. In a short and compact way, you will receive important organizational and content-related information, and you will be given the opportunity to work out your own tutor profile and exchange ideas with a group of tutors from different disciplines.

Du bist in diesem Semester Tutor:in? In unserer Basisschulung vermitteln wir dir die Grundlagen der Tutorienarbeit. Kurz und kompakt erhaltest du wichtige inhaltliche, organisatorische und rechtliche Informationen, arbeitest an deinem persönlichen Tutor:innen-Profil und trittst mit Tutor:innen aus verschiedenen Arbeitsbereichen in Kontakt.

In diesem Workshop erhältst du das Handwerkszeug das du brauchst um Studierende erfolgreich zu führen. Du reflektierst eigene Stärken, lernst verschiedene Arten von Leadership (Führungsstilen) und Kommunikationsstilen kennen und erarbeitest wie du als Tutor:in oder Mentor:in ein gutes Klima schaffen kannst und eine Gruppe erfolgreich leiten kannst.
