Beschreibung
Pérola Bonfanti was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brasil, in 1983. In her work she uses multimedia collaborations, game and site specific platforms to develop interactive urban art projects, as presented by the Urban Art Game 4 Aces in Austria, Vienna 2014/2015, which took place at the open spaces of the Hofburg Palace and was supported by institutions such as the Albertina Museum, the Art History Museum and ARS Electronica. She graduated in Music at the Federal University of the State of Rio de Janeiro at 2009. Since 2001 she is supervisor in the Programa Fundamentação by the Secretary of Culture of the State of Rio de Janeiro at the visual art school, Escola de Artes Visuais do Parque Lage.
In her talk, she will discuss various forms of site specific urban art which she will illustrate with the examples from her own work and juxtapose with her explorations of Wassily Kandinsky’s “On the Problem of Form”.
