AACSB
In 2023, the Faculty of Business and Law was accredited by AACSB International (Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business). This seal of quality guarantees the highest academic standards in strategy, research, teaching and quality management. The AASCB accreditation was preceded by several years of rigorous quality assessment. The faculty now joins a worldwide network of outstanding universities and its high quality standards are internationally visible.
EMAS
By implementing the EMAS (ECO Management and Audit Scheme) environmental management system, the University of Klagenfurt has undertaken to establish an environmental management process and to improve this in a consistent and measurable manner. It is therefore the declared goal of the University of Klagenfurt to pursue an active and comprehensive environmental policy in addition to fulfilling its diverse research and teaching responsibilities. By introducing EMAS, the University of Klagenfurt has made an important contribution to environmental protection and environmental awareness, while at the same time initiating continuous improvement processes in its internal procedures.
EVALAG
Every one of the University of Klagenfurt’s activities, whether it be research, teaching or administration, is tied together by a common thread: quality. All processes and procedures are underpinned by the drive for quality and constant improvement. The University of Klagenfurt’s quality management system has held official certification since July 2015.
