The Financial Directorate oversees the following organisational units: Cost Controlling, Finance department, and Procurement. These organisational units report to the Finance Director.
The Controlling department is a business service unit that supports the Rectorate of the University of Klagenfurt in planning, controlling and handling the entire financial administration (global budget, § 27 budget, § 26 projects and university certificate programmes) through the collection, preparation, provision and processing of data/information. The Finance department is responsible for all central accounting matters. The areas of responsibility include financial, fixed asset and balance sheet accounting as well as the support of the SAP reporting tool users. The Procurement department is responsible for all central procurement activities including delivery and invoice processing.
