- Language courses run by the “Deutsch in Österreich” language centre (fees apply)
The “Deutsch in Österreich” (German in Austria) language centre offers intensive semester-long or summer courses in English, Italian, Spanish and Slovene. It is also a licensed Österreichisches Sprachdiplom (ÖSD – Austrian language diploma) examination centre (all levels). Do you need to provide proof of English-language proficiency?
AAU’s partnership with the British Council Austria means students can sit IELTS examinations at Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt. IELTS assesses the entire breadth of a student’s English language ability: reading, writing, listening and speaking. The test is based on the English language as it is used in study, the workplace and leisure.
