Online registration for students

The online registration serves the purpose of creating an account at the University of Klagenfurt by entering your personal details and choosing a degree programme.

As a result of completing the online registration, you will be assigned a reference number by email. You will need this number later on for your enrolment at the Admissions and Examinations Office. After successful online registration, you may enrol for the degree programme of your choice, provided that you meet the admission requirements.

Online registration periods for programmes without a special admission procedure

Winter semester 2024/25

General admission period for Bachelor’s programmes:
8 July – 5 September 2024

General admission period for other programmes:
8 July – 31 October 2024

Summer semester 2025

General admission period for Bachelor’s programmes:
7 January 2025 – 5 February 2025

General admission period for other programmes:
7 January 2025 – 31 March 2025

If you wish to apply and enrol for a degree programme with a special admission procedure, heed the applicable information.

Who is required to complete an online registration?

If you do not have or have not had an account at the University of Klagenfurt, you will need to complete the online registration.
If you had or have an account at the University of Klagenfurt, do not register online again. Please use your existing account.
