Degree programmes with special admission procedures
In the case of some of the degree programmes offered by the University of Klagenfurt, students are required to participate in a special admission procedure in order to be admitted to the desired degree programme. Special admission procedures are scheduled to take place just once per year, before the start of the winter semester.
Each of the following degree programmes has its own particular special admission procedure. Please note that special registration deadlines and procedures apply for degree programmes with special admission procedures.
The application period for degree programmes with special admission procedures is over for the academic year 2024/25.
The information for the academic year 2025/26 will be updated as soon as possible.
For each degree programme with a special admission procedure, a fee contribution of € 50 must be paid in the 2025/26 academic year.
Bachelor’s degree programmes with special admission procedures
International Business and Economics
Registration period: 13 January 2025 to 24 February 2025 (23:59 hours CEST)
The admission procedure applies to admission for the winter semester 2025/26 or the summer semester 2026.

Registration period: 1 March to 15 July 2024 (23:59 hours CEST)

Bachelor’s teacher education programmes
Registration period for general admission
Main date: 1 March to 15 May 2024
Secondary date: 1 July to 14 August 2024
The admission procedure applies to admission for the winter semester 2024/25 or the summer semester 2025.

Fee contribution € 50,-.
There are no special admission procedures for other Bachelor’s degree programmes. Prospective students who meet the admission requirements can enrol directly for the Bachelor’s degree programme.
