In the academic field, the degree programme conveys a sufficient degree of familiarity with modern mathematical methods, so that current research questions can be appropriately addressed.

Practical training
One of the crucial elements of the practical orientation is a compulsory internship lasting several weeks, which is designed to test and apply acquired knowledge in a domestic or foreign company, in public administration or respectively in a non-profit organisation, or in a (non-university) research institution.
The legally binding version of this curriculum is the german version!

Admission to the Master’s Dregree Programme Mathematics must occur within the admission periods.

Prerequisites
You do not have to go through a special admission procedure to start the Master's degree programme in Mathematics in Klagenfurt.
You only have to meet the following conditions, which also apply to all other programmes:
- Bachelor’s degree programme in Mathematics or a degree programme of equivalent academic value at another post-secondary educational institution
