Practical training
One of the crucial elements of the practical orientation is a compulsory internship lasting several weeks, which is designed to test and apply acquired knowledge in a domestic or foreign company, in public administration or respectively in a non-profit organisation, or in a (non-university) research institution.
The legally binding version of this curriculum is the german version!

Admission to the Master’s Dregree Programme Mathematics must occur within the admission periods.
The Admissions and Examinations Office can be visited after an appointment has been made. Appointments are made as follows:
Once you have booked an appointment, you will receive an appointment booking confirmation by e-mail. This serves as proof and must be presented at the counter in digital form (mobile phone) or as a printout.
You do not have to go through a special admission procedure to start the Master's degree programme in Mathematics in Klagenfurt.

When does the semester start?
The winter semester starts on the 1st of October and ends on the 31st of January. The summer semester starts on the 1st of March and ends on the 30th of June.
