Practical training
To reinforce the practical and research experience as well as the problem-solving skills, students can complete a practical placement (worth 6 ECTS credits) as part of the elective subject “Soft Skills”. During the research or industrial placement, which must last at least 2 months, students work on a project, defined in advance, under the expert supervision of a university lecturer. The industrial placement can be completed in a company, with a public administrative body, a non-profit organisation, or a non-university research institution.

In the extension programme “Social Competence and Organizational Learning SCOL“ we will show you how project and conflict management, mediation processes and moderation techniques can succeed.

Admission to the Master’s Dregree Programme Information and Communications Engineering: Branch of study Business Engineering must occur within the admission periods.

Prerequisites
You do not have to go through a special admission procedure to start the Master‘s degree in Information and Communications Engineering in Klagenfurt.
You only have to meet the following conditions, which also apply to all other programmes:
- Bachelor’s degree programme Information and Communications Engineering or a degree programme of equivalent academic value at another post-secondary educational institution.
- English language level B2
evidence of English language proficiency at the required level at the time of application.
