A variety of administrative and support services are available to researchers at Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt. These include:
The Research Support Service
The Research Support Service provides you with support on making an application for third-party research funding. It offers guidance on technology transfer, from registration to the exploitation of an invention, as well as more general support on all aspects of research funding. The Research Support Service also offers advice on legal matters relating to research projects, the use of research findings and international cooperation projects.
Science communications
Universität Klagenfurt has its own internal communications for promoting its research (ad astra magazine and a research newsletter) and works closely with other media outlets, such as the Kleine Zeitung, Der Standard and Die Presse newspapers.
The Long Night of Research takes place every two years. The AAU issues regular press releases on a variety of research topics and provides journalists with access to experts.
