At the Bachelor Online Infoweek from 11 to 15 November 2024, daily from 2 to 6 pm, you will get to know our 22 Bachelor’s degree programmes and receive important information about studying, scholarships, housing options and support services at the University of Klagenfurt.
Participation is free of charge!

How can I participate?
The Infoweek has been designed as an online event. There are several live sessions each day, in which the individual Bachelor’s degree programmes are introduced. At the end of each session, you can ask questions or use the live chat to receive further guidance.
The live presentations will take place on the online platform classroom.aau.at (recommended browsers: Firefox or Chrome). No registration, no download necessary! You can join the Infoweek by simply clicking on the session link of your choice in our schedule.

Extension Programmes (EP)
Extension programmes (EP) are degree programmes which serve the purpose of adding additional competences to the core skills acquired in your main degree programme. To do so, you must complete courses amounting to 32 ECTS (or 41 ECTS for “Teaching German as a Foreign and Second language”).

FAQs
How can I join the online lectures?
Click on the chosen link in the schedule and you will be connected to the live session on https://classroom.aau.at/. It is not necessary to register for the session in advance.
When classroom.aau.at opens, you simply enter your chosen user name, and you are ready to join the session.
What are the technical requirements for joining?
You need a computer/laptop or a smartphone to join the online sessions. If you would like to ask verbal questions during any of the sessions, you will need a microphone or a headset.
Can I asks questions during the online presentations?
During the online sessions you have the opportunity to ask questions using either the chat function or the audio function provided by classroom.aau.at. You can do this anonymously or with your name (depending on the user name you selected when you logged into classroom.aau.at).
Our colleagues delivering the presentations will answer your questions at the end of the video session.
Can the presenters and other participants hear or see me?
The presenters and other participants cannot see you. You can decide, whether you ask your questions via the chat function or verbally, using the audio function. At the start of every session, the participants are automatically muted. If you would like to ask a question, please remember to activate your microphone.
Do I have to join the live presentation on time or can I join later?
You can join later, but to ensure that you don’t miss any vital information, we recommend that you join the selected presentations on time. If you prefer, you can log into classroom.aau.at a few minutes before the starting time indicated.
Who can I contact after the infoweek, if I need to ask a question?
Our student guidance team will be happy to assist you after the infoweek, if you have any questions about our range of degree programmes.
