In a recent article published in the renowned “Descision Support Systems“ journal, researchers of AAU presented a new AI-based algorithm for automated pricing in e-commerce. The new algorithm was already successfully applied in practice on a major German e-commerce site.
Die Bibliothek lädt alle Interessierten zur Buchpräsentation von Horror Kultfilme (Marburger Studien zur Medienforschung) ein. Das Werk wurde gemeinschaftlich von Angela FABRIS, Jörg HELBIG und Arno RUSSEGGER herausgegeben. Es widmet sich unterschiedlichen Aspekten des Horrorfilms. Analysen von individuellen Filmen stehen neben Ausführungen zu einzelnen Genres (z. B. Gothic Horror, Giallo, Parodien) und zu spezifischen Aspekten wie Gewalt oder Musik im Horrorfilm.
Die Herausgeber_innen werden Auszüge aus dem Werk vortragen. Für die musikalische Untermalung sorgt Werner Delanoy. Ein kleines Buffet erwartet Sie!

Abstract: Constraint answer set programming (CASP) is a family of hybrid approaches integrating answer set programming (ASP) and constraint programming (CP). These hybrid approaches have already proven to be successful in various domains. In this talk the approach of heuristic CASP (HCASP) is presented. In HCASP, ASP is not only used for expressing constraint satisfaction problems (CSPs) to be solved by a CP solver, but also for the encoding of search heuristics that are exploited by the CP solver. In particular, the HCASP solver ASCASS (A Simple Constraint Answer Set Solver), which provides novel methods for defining and exploiting search heuristics, is presented.
