Der Glockner-Öko-Fonds unterstützt seit fast 30 Jahren Forschungsprojekte, die sich mit Themen im Nationalpark Hohe Tauern bzw. im Umfeld der Großglockner Hochalpenstraße
beschäftigen. In dieser Zeit konnten mittlerweile fast 40 Projekte unterstützt werden.
Jährlich gelangt ein Betrag in Höhe von € 1O.OOO,- zur Vergabe. Die Einreichfrist für die Projekte läuft noch bis zum 31. März 2022.
Electronic health records, like ELGA in Austria, provide an overview of laboratory results, diagnostics and therapies. Much could be learned from the personal and private data of individuals – with the help of machine learning – for use in the treatment of others. However, the use of the data is a delicate matter, especially when it comes to diseases that carry a stigma. Researchers involved in the EU project “Enabling the Big Data Pipeline Lifecycle on the Computing Continuum (DataCloud)” are working to make new forms of information processing suitable for medical purposes. Dragi Kimovski and his colleagues recently presented their findings in a publication.

Die Infoweek stellt alle Bachelorstudien der Universität Klagenfurt vor und unterstützt dich bei der Studienwahl.
Am Mittwoch, 9. März, ab 16 Uhr findet eine Session zu den Bachelorstudien Geographie & UF Geographie und Wirtschaftskunde statt.
Die Infoweek findet als Onlineveranstaltung statt. Pro Tag gibt es mehrere Live-Sessions, in denen die einzelnen Bachelorstudien vorgestellt werden. Im Anschluss gibt es jeweils die Möglichkeit, im Live-Chat konkrete Fragen zu stellen oder sich beraten zu lassen.
