Teaching
The research groups of our department offer a number of courses, lab-projects, and thesis projects to bachelor, master, and doctoral students. We are also involved in a number of international joint and double degree programs in informatics.
The Information and Communication Systems (ICS) research group provides courses on Data- and Knowledge Engineering, Databases, Information Systems, and Temporal Data Warehouses.
The Interactive Systems (IAS) research group provides courses on Interactive Systems, User Interface Design, Visual Communication, and Usability and User Experience. IAS coordinates the specialization branch Interactive Systems of the Informatics Bachelor’s program and the specialization branch Human-Computer Interaction of the Informatics Master’s program.
The Software Engineering (SERG) research group provides courses on Software Engineering, Software Maintenance and Evolution, Software Quality Assurance, and Formal Methods. SERG coordinates the specialization Software Engineering of the Informatics Master’s program.
