INTERNATIONAL
Students have the opportunity to apply for a Student Internship within the Erasmus+ programme. Students organise their internship either themselves or with the help of the respective institute. The student will receive financial support from the Erasmus+ Programme.
There are three kinds of internships:
Students can carry out an internship in all 27 EU member states as well as in Iceland, Liechtenstein, North Macedonia, Norway, Serbia and Turkey (so called Erasmus+ programme countries), in companies, NGOs, research facilities, associations and others. Erasmus+ Student Internships are full-time placements, and they can last from a minimum of 2 months to a maximum of 12 months.
Grants for Erasmus+ Student Internship are not full scholarships but are intended as a financial aid to wards the higher costs of living abroad within the Erasmus+ programme countries. Funding for an Erasmus+ Student Internship can also be possible directly after an Erasmus+ student mobility. However, the total number of months within the Erasmus+ Programme cannot exceed 12 months per study cycle.
Deadline for applications
Applications and all necessary documents must be submitted at least 6 weeks prior to the start of the internship.
Application process
Further Process

The following steps must be completed before the start of the mobility:

After the Erasmus+ student internship
A confirmation of stay (directly sent by the host organisation) and the Learning Agreement for Traineeships “After the Mobility” must be submitted to the International Office within 4 weeks from the end of the internship.
Recognition
If your internship requires the recognition of ECTS credit points, please contact your department and apply for recognition.
In case an internship is embedded in the curriculum, students must obtain 3 ECTS points per month for the duration of their internship within the programme.
Upon your return, the formal recognition process must be initiated.
