Short-term research placements abroad for Bachelor’s and Master's students (KWA Bachelor/Master)

The programme of short-term research placements abroad for Bachelor’s and Master’s students (KWA Bachelor/Master) promotes short-term foreign placements to undertake research activities for Bachelor’s or Master’s dissertations for a period of minimum 2 weeks up to 3 months.

Upload the following documents:

CV with signature
Letter of confirmation from the supervisor, that the stay is study relevant

Programme terms

Tuition fees can be waived at the student’s home university. Grants only cover living costs and travel costs. This is not a full scholarship. The value of the grant is set according to rates offered by the financial aid office and the value of Joint-Study scholarships.

Consideration will only be given to complete applications that are received by the application deadline.

After the placement abroad

Every student who receives a grant must upload the evaluation questionnaire and the letter confirming completion of the placement by the supervisor within a month of completing their placement abroad. At the application in the student portal. The grant will be paid after the end of the placement once the required documents have been provided.

Fulfilling all of the application criteria does not entitle a student to receive financial support. Funding is awarded on a competitive basis and according to the funds available.
