Double Degree International Management La Rochelle

General information

There is a double degree agreement (DD) between the University of Klagenfurt and the Excelia Business School. The programme is taken as part of the Master’s degree programme in International Management.

Specifics

Certificate received upon completion: The Master‘s degree is acknowledged in both countries, whereby the graduates can choose whether they wish to receive the French or the Austrian title: “Master in Management” (MiM) (for international use)/“Master Grande Ecole” (MGE) in France or “Master of Science” (MSc.) in Austria.
Exemption from tuition fees: No tuition fees apply during the period of study abroad. The student union fee, on the other hand, must still be paid during the semester or academic year abroad.
Furthermore, the agreement is intended to promote the international networking and further development of the individual and improve cross-border career opportunities in middle and senior management.

Application criteria

Students must fulfil the following criteria to be admitted to the DD programme:

Participation in the Master’s degree programme in “International Management” at the University of Klagenfurt.
Nominations are made by the University of Klagenfurt in consultation with Excelia Business School following the positive assessment of the application for a study place within the DD programme.

Step 1: Application for the Double Degree programme

We would kindly ask you to submit the following documents via e-mail to im [dot] recognitions [at] aau [dot] at by 15 January 2024:

a. Motivation letter
b. CV
c. Current Transcript of Records

A nomination will be made as soon as possible so that you can apply for the Erasmus+ scholarship programme in time.

Step 2: Application for the Erasmus+ Student Mobility Programme (until 1 February 2024)

In addition, please apply for the Erasmus+ grant in your student portal and indicate Excelia Business School as your first choice. Please indicate the required subjects (see overview of the subjects in the chart below) in your Learning Agreement before mobility.

Requirements for successful completion

In order to ensure that the DD programme is completed successfully, all students must comply with the following points:

Participation in the Master’s degree programme in “International Management” at the University of Klagenfurt.
Students must complete 60 ECTS credits from the Master‘s programme in International Management at the University of Klagenfurt (first and second semester) and 60 ECTS credits at the host university (third and fourth semester).
Successful completion of the Master‘s thesis at Excelia Business School corresponding to 10 ECTS credit points. The relevant regulations of Excelia Business School shall apply.
