Scholarship for attending a summer or winter school abroad

The scholarship for attending a winter or summer schools worldwide supports students who complete a winter or summer school abroad for a period of at least two weeks to a maximum of four weeks.

Applications are open to students of all fields of study.

Application requirements

• Status as a degree student at the Alpen-Adria University Klagenfurt

Application procedure

Online application via student portal: “My applications” > “File  new application” > Applications related to mobility programmes > “Scholarships” > “Scholarship for attending a summer or winter school”

Upload the following documents:

• CV with signature
• 1 Letter of confirmation from the Study Programme Director that the courses are study relevant
• Confirmation of registration for the summer or winter school

Application deadline

Two weeks before the beginning of the summer or winter school

Terms of the programme

EUR 400,00 for a two-week course, EUR 600,00 for a three-week course and EUR 800,00 for a four-week course.

Consideration will only be given to complete applications that are received by the application deadline.

After the mobility

Each student who receives a scholarship must upload an evaluation questionnaire and the letter confirming course attendance to the application on the course on the student portal within one month of the end of their stay abroad. The scholarship is transferred after the stay abroad has come to an end and after the required documents have been provided.

Fulfilling all of the application criteria does not entitle a student to receive financial support. Funding is awarded on a competitive basis and according to the funds available.
