Die Baltic Council Messen sind die größten öffentlichen Messen für Bildung im Ausland in den baltischen Staaten und eine der größten Messen in Osteuropa. Die Messen werden von umfangreichen Werbekampagnen in den führenden Massenmedien unterstützt, die darauf abzielen, verschiedene Zielgruppen für die Veranstaltung zu gewinnen. Die Zielgruppe sind Studierende, die im Ausland studieren möchten. Ausstellende von Hochschulen\/Universitäten und Unternehmen stellen Ausbildungsberufe und Studiengänge vor, unter anderen Universität Klagenfurt.

After more than 460 days of a war that has devastated Gaza and killed more than 50.000 people, a ceasefire was signed between Israel and Hamas in January 2025. At the same time, the Israeli occupation army has accelerated its assaults on Palestinian refugee camps and urban centres in the West Bank.It remains hotly debated whether or not Israel is committing a genocide in Gaza supported by the US and the EU. This talk will thus discuss main arguments put forward and critically consider the question of Western complicity.
