War and Imperialism. Palestine, Israel, and the West
After more than 460 days of a war that has devastated Gaza and killed more than 50.000 people, a ceasefire was signed between Israel and Hamas in January 2025. At the same time, the Israeli occupation army has accelerated its assaults on Palestinian refugee camps and urban centres in the West Bank.
It remains hotly debated whether or not Israel is committing a genocide in Gaza supported by the US and the EU. This talk will thus discuss main arguments put forward and critically consider the question of Western complicity.
