Stadtwerke Klagenfurt AG and the University of Klagenfurt team up in a powerful demonstration of sustainability

This project is the latest step in a long-standing and successful partnership: Stadtwerke Klagenfurt AG are cooperating with the University of Klagenfurt in the field of sustainable mobility. Second place in Austria and placed in ranking group 201-250 worldwide: Information and Communications Engineering achieves major success in THE Ranking 2022

The THE Ranking 2022 represents the first time that the University of Klagenfurt has also been ranked in the field of “Engineering”. Being ranked second among Austrian universities at the first attempt is due in no small part to the outstanding research achievements of the scientists and the field’s high degree of internationality. The relatively young Faculty of Technical Sciences is confident in maintaining its chosen course – and continues to reach for the stars.

THE World University Rankings 2022: The University of Klagenfurt achieves outstanding ranking in the field of Engineering


After placing among the top 50 best young universities in the Times Higher Education (THE) Young University Rankings, the University of Klagenfurt has now also gained a place in the excellent ranking bracket 201-250 in the field of Engineering, thus scoring the second-best ranking among Austrian universities (Vienna University of Technology is ranked in bracket 176-200).
