Since 20 March 2024, students and staff of the University of Klagenfurt have been getting back on their bikes as part of the “The University gets cycling” initiative to replace as many car kilometres as possible with bike kilometres. Until 30 September 2024, kilometres can be collected via the “Kärnten radelt” platform – and participants have the chance to win a great prize!
Since January 2024, anyone studying or working at the University of Klagenfurt who would like to eat in the Mensa canteen can benefit from a special discount of 1.50 euros for hot lunches and hot snacks in the Mensa canteen or the Mensa café in the Aula. To take advantage of the special discount, you must be registered as a student or employee of the university. Additionally, students can also take advantage of the ÖH discount of one euro, saving a total of 2.50 euros!

One of the top TikTok accounts among game developers in Austria is run by a small group of students and gaming enthusiasts from Carinthia, Salzburg and Styria who are preparing to launch the feel-good game “A Webbing Journey” in early 2024. The game, currently available on Steam and smartphones as a demo version, is the target of intense anticipation among TikTok users. The most popular post was viewed a total of 4.2 million times. We chatted with Sebastian Uitz and Noel Treese to find out how this success came about and what fans can look forward to at the end of the year.
