Shortlist nomination for students of Games Studies

Three game developers from the Master’s degree programme in Games Studies and Engineering have been nominated among those shortlisted for the Pioneers of Game Development Austria’s Talent Award 2024. One of the three developers, Mano Marichal from Belgium, revealed how this came about and what makes this Master’s degree programme so special when we interviewed him. Along with his colleagues Nikolay Markozov from Russia and Anja Kolundzija from Serbia, they are some of the most innovative young artists that have emerged from the University of Klagenfurt’s Games Studies and Engineering programme.

Application phase started: Dr. Erich Ciesciutti scholarships support Bachelor’s students with special eligibility for funding

For the second time, the University of Klagenfurt is awarding scholarships from the Dr. Erich Ciesciutti Foundation. The scholarship supports Bachelor’s students with a monthly grant of 600 euros.

Video game pioneers introduce themselves to students in Klagenfurt

Headlined “Press Start: Your Journey into Game Development”, seven representatives of the games industry will meet students on Friday, 12 April 2024 in the Omansaal located in the foyer of the University of Klagenfurt. This career event is geared primarily towards students enrolled in the Master’s degree programme in Game Studies and Engineering, but is also open to anyone else who is interested.
