The best game ideas to compete high up in the mountains: HüttenJam at 1,700 metres above sea level

This year, the Alpine village Turrach is the venue for the HüttenJam, which is jointly organised by the Game Development Graz Association and the University of Klagenfurt. Creative game developers will meet there from 13 to 16 April 2023 to brainstorm new game concepts over the course of 48 hours.

Starting in 2023, the Department of Slavic Studies at the University of Klagenfurt is pleased to introduce a scholarship for students from the Slovene ethnic group in Carinthia who are pursuing a degree in Slovene Studies. Applications will be accepted until 11 April 2023.

Widely available and affordable: Programme promoting mental health among adolescents moves to the next level

Early adolescence is a key stage for mental health. Young people in Eastern Europe are currently facing particular challenges, as they are confronted by poverty and inequality on the one hand, and are often adversely affected by the ongoing conflict in Ukraine on the other. In a project funded by EU HORIZON EUROPE, researchers are developing tools to promote the mental health of adolescents, specifically in Eastern Europe, in a manner that is both affordable and scalable.
