Research Group System Security
The System Security (SYSSEC) research group comes with over 20 years of experience in IT-Security, including applied cryptography, security infrastructures, IT risk management, the evaluation of security concepts, and the design of protocols and prototypes. We are involved in national and international research projects and conferences, and act as external reviewers, consultants and lecturers.
The group is densely connected to international institutions and researchers in established communities of cryptography, as well as fast growing branches of more holistic security areas dealing with advanced persistent threats, critical infrastructure protection and applications of statistics, decision and game theory for security.
