Team
The University of Klagenfurt makes an effort to include many of its representatives, organizational units and individuals who all bring a range of perspectives to the audit process through their expertise. The parties involved work within the following constellations: control circuit and steering committee. They are accompanied and supported by an external auditor.
The auditor and professor Andrea Bührmann, who heads the Institute for Diversity Research at the Georg-August-University of Göttingen, will accompany the audit process. In the past, she has worked as a visiting professor at the University of Klagenfurt and has already served as an auditor for several higher education institutions.

Vice-Rector for Human Resources and Infrastructure Reinhard Alexander Stauber, head of UZF*G Kirstin Mertlitsch, diversity expert Jasmin Donlic and Diversity Audit coordinator Elisabeth Millonig are all part of the control Team. They support the entire audit process strategically and communicate the audit’s results externally.

Steering Committee
On the one hand, the steering committee includes representatives of various sectors of the University of Klagenfurt and employees who act on behalf of specific societal groups. For instance, the latter group of participants contains representatives of human resource development, compatibility/ family services, teaching, the International Office, the student union (ÖH) department for social politics, and the ÖH queer and women’s department. Furthermore, representatives for disability and women’s issues, respectively, and diversity experts will shape the audit. The steering committee takes on the operative responsibility in the audit process.
Working groups are assigned to each field of action. Their task lies in developing and executing concrete measures regarding the diversity strategy.
