JOB SHADOWING

Finding your future career can sometimes be quite a challenge. To ease your entry into working life, our mentors provide support as part of the job shadowing project. For one day, you’ll join them in their day-to-day professional life and they’ll offer you additional joint activities to help you plan your career. You will learn first-hand what it really takes to be successful and you can forge valuable professional contacts.

“CAREER PATHS” PANEL DISCUSSION

As part of the “career paths” event, graduates of the University of Klagenfurt talk about their time at university, entering the world of work and their successes in an informal setting. After the panel discussion, you can ask questions and establish useful contacts. The “career paths” take place once a semester and focus on a different professional field each time.

Five modules help prepare you for the Carinthian labour market and conclude with a match-making event. This brings you into direct contact with regional companies.

KLAGENFURT SCHOLARSHIP

Particularly dedicated Master’s students receive EUR 300 per month through the Klagenfurt Scholarship. Thanks to joint funding from the City of Klagenfurt and top Carinthian companies, you can develop an extensive network during your studies and then start your career straight away.
