DISCOVER Klagenfurt
Klagenfurt, the one and only charming little city in the South: It has close to 100,000 mostly friendly, cheerful and affable inhabitants. Life is largely concentrated in the city centre, which can be crossed on foot from one corner to the other in under 30 minutes. In the summer months, people tend to head to Lake Wörthersee for a wide range of recreational activities, as it is just 15 minutes by bike from the centre of town. The University of Klagenfurt, with its 12,000 students, can be found nestled between the lake and the city centre. Klagenfurt is diverse, vibrant, a great place to live in, with plenty of variety and it holds many surprises in store for its visitors.
