The University of Klagenfurt is located on the western outskirts of the city of Klagenfurt in the immediate vicinity of Lake Wörthersee. It is one of the few campus universities in Austria. Find out more about how to reach us.

How to reach us
By car
Take the Klagenfurt Universität/Minimundus/Stadion exit from the motorway. From there, follow the road to the second junction and turn left into Universitätsstraße. The university campus is on the right-hand side.
Parking spaces marked with a white line are free of charge in Universitätsstraße. If these are fully occupied, there are car parks (parking charges apply) to the east and west of the campus: Information on parking at the university.
By bus and train
The main train station is Klagenfurt Hauptbahnhof; bus line C departs from the bus stop in front of the station building every 10 minutes (journey time approx. 20 minutes) and stops at “Universität“.
The nearest railway station to the campus is Klagenfurt West: From here you can walk to the university campus in about 10 minutes, passing through the Europagarten and across the Lendkanal. Alternatively, you can take bus line C from Klagenfurt West to the “Universität” bus stop.

By aeroplane
The nearest airport is Klagenfurt am Wörthersee Airport; other airports in the region are Ljubljana Airport and Graz Airport, which are around an hour and a half’s drive away. All airports are also connected by local, regional and long-distance transport.
